Connected math is a new program. Connected math is a complete mathematics curriculum for grades six through eight. It helps students utilize engaging interactive problems and motivating everyday solutions to learn math concepts. All the eight units in this program, Connected Math 2, are called Prime Time, Bits and Pieces I, Shapes and Designs, Bits and Pieces II, Covering and surrounding, Bits and Pieces III, How likely is it? My favorite unit in this mathematics program is unit six. Unit six is called “How Likely Is It?” I liked that unit because it was fun to do the projects in it. The project that we did was you flip a coin thirty times and see how many times you would get head or tails. In this unit we learned about operations and working problems, decimals and power of ten, reading and understanding word problems.
